Lost cast member, Dominic Monaghan, who plays Charlie on the series, is still visible these days despite having been killed off the show at the end of Season 3. Only, he is keeping busy on a different creative medium.
Unknown to many, the star is also a budding photographer and just recently opened his photo exhibit in LA called "Happy Accidents". The exhibit features photographs he took through the last six-seven years. Some of his Lord of the Rings cast mates are also his photo subjects.
The photo exhibit will run until April 27. If you’re in the west Hollywood area, it’s at the Hamilton-Selway Fine Art Gallery.
Dominic will be seen next in the new Wolverine movie where he plays Barnell Bohusk.

Penelope is this really funny character on Saturday Night Live who tries to one-up everybody. She’s full of hot air and is always bragging about something to the point of becoming a really impossible person to deal with. Her personality is annoying but her character, and the way Kristen Wiig plays her, is quite hilarious.
Saturday Night Live is not something I’d watch routinely. I like it enough. But not so much that I’d make it a point to see the show week after week. But on occassions when I would actually watch SNL, I’d always also happen to see Penelope.
The video below is the latest sketch of Penelope, with Amy Adams as guest host and the scenario is in Traffic School:
Funniest line by Penelope: "I was speeding so fast, I broke the sound barrier…so…so…."
It has indeed been a very long and very lonely TV season. The strike that began last November has affected many couch potatoes. Some of us may have resorted to other diversions; even discovering there is life outside TV or discovering the concept of sleep.
But fret not, TV freaks. The zombie days are back. We’re going to start not getting enough sleep as scripted TV resumes….and just in time, too! Lost is going on a month-long hiatus next week. If not for the return of these shows, I would have nothing to excitedly anticipate weekly but just American Idol!
So, clear up your disc space, queue your torrents, DVRs and Tivo’s on these dates:
As another TV season dwindles down and ends its run, fresh news shows are now under development for the next one. What new TV series are underway? Which shows will you be following in the new season? What series will people be raving about next?
I’ve outlined a couple of them for you to keep tabs on. It’s grouped into two, Drama & Comedy. There are a lot of series adaptations in this bunch.
Let’s get started, after the jump…
The biggest story on American Idol this season isn’t whether they’ve got a bunch of semi-pros in the Top 12. Nor is it Ramiele’s "racy" photos. It’s not even David Hernandez’ stripper background. The biggest story is right in front of us, whenever we’re watching these contestants on TV. It’s their hairstyles, dude.
And I blame Sanjaya for it. He started it all. Remember this?

Early this week, TV Guide reported Alicia Silverstone was signing on for a multi-episode guest appearance on CBS’ comedy, How I Met Your Mother. The report says, Alicia will play love interest to Josh Radnor’s character, Ted….and may possibly be the answer to what viewers have been wanting to know since Season 1 — just who the heck is Mother?
