The biggest story on American Idol this season isn’t whether they’ve got a bunch of semi-pros in the Top 12. Nor is it Ramiele’s "racy" photos. It’s not even David Hernandez’ stripper background. The biggest story is right in front of us, whenever we’re watching these contestants on TV. It’s their hairstyles, dude.

know, faux long hair, faux rock star image?
Danny and Ramiele
I’d be lying if I say I don’t dig their hair-do. But the emo cut makes them look almost identical, some people refer to them as The Wonder Twins now. I can’t even say if it looks better on Danny than on Rammy, I mean, Ramiele. But I take it, Paula’s having a hard time telling them apart. So when Danny left, imagine how relieved Paula was.
David Cook
Yet another one with that "emo cut" kids call these days. Younger viewers think the hairstyle needs updating and the right cut hasn’t been maintained. Older viewers notice that, despite the fringes, he is balding and should just shave the hair altogether. If people haven’t began calling him Daughtry 2.0 yet, they will when they see him lose the weird hair style. It’s the one thing that’s setting him apart.

Disaster dreadlocks? Let’s sum it up in his words:
